This is a standalone game. Uninstall old NMS and install the beyond version from codex. It’s smaller because the files have been optimized and compressed better by both hello games and codex.
How do I activate the VR mode?
to turn on VR add “-HmdEnable 1” to the end of the shortcut application – search google on how to do this. In short right click>properties and then past that to the end of the shortcut file path.

@John (vc deve mudar dentro do arquivo steamemu.ini a linha language=english p/ brazilian) You must to change the steamemu.ini with language=english to brazilian.
Pra mudar a linguagem abre o local de instalação do jogo, abre o arquivo “steam_emu.ini” em language apaga o inglês e coloca brazilian.
fecha salva e inicia o game, já era ta em português! 😉

how i play multiplayer
I was unable to start game when i installed it. I just had black screen and maybe saw hello logo. Updated nvidia graphics drivers to newest and game has been running without crashes.

so far it does not for me, the game runs fine when i paste the multiplayer fix files over the 2.09 game update, but steam actually does not recognize the game running (spacewar).
Also, saves are lost after the update looks like.
Dont forget to the 2.09 fix too.

I changed the “sve_12392131232” to “Default” and put a cache folder inside it (if it’s not already there or replace it with your save files) and it fixed it for me

Hey there, thank you so much, but could you please post the 2.11 update it is 100% imperative that it is posted, due to 2.09 being broken, you can not continue the game at all, it is bugged beyond functioning, you can not complete the base building quests to continue the game.

Does this include all the DLC’s, like the building DLC?
Does this version have for multiplayer? If so how it works, just it to play with some friends but can’t find where to start hosting a game or other’s game in LAN.
Gamestart Problem:
U need to Install the game, than copy the “crack”, after that u can do the upgrades, if u install and dont copy crack before u update the game, it wont start. Im using nvidia card too.. works fine for me :)!
