how do i apply the update?

Read the codex.nfo file, it will tell you how to apply the Update to the game.
Unfortunately, the instructions it gives are wrong 🙁

What do you mean the instructions are wrong?
The instructions couldn’t be any simpler.
All you need to do is install the Update to the same drive and directory where the main game was installed to.
The only thing that you need to do is click on the Browse button from inside of the Update installer, locate the drive and directory where the game is installed, click the OK button, and then click the Install button, wait for it to successfully install the Update and apply it to the main game, and your done. Easy Peasy.

@Blackmarsh All small rars are codex scene files. You can with sfv file. If you still don’t trust codex, don’t it.

after selecting the folder and pressing install, a “scanning updated files” loading bar appears, when it ends an empty error screen named ISDone.dll appears with only “ok” clickable, after clicking it the installation fails and the only ones strings are “rolling back changes”
